Take this for what you want but this is my theory on why we went to war.
The aftermath of September 11th was that every boy between the ages of 18 and 25 said at one point to themselves, "That pisses me off and I want to do something about it." Thus the giant influx of recruits into the military. It was a recruiters dream, guys were walking in off the street.
This became another perfect reason to start a war, to test our military strengths and weakness'. Sure there were other minor reasons to go into Iraq and we've heard them all, but make no mistake, the military can't measure itself with "War Games" and artilary tests. The only way to test the military is a real conflict. Sorry to say, Iraq turned into a wash so don't be surprised when the test moves on next year.

-The USA is not at war very often....at least officially. They rarely declare war and often attack countries under the guise of the UN.

Actually I didn't give much of a crap about 9/11.
I was just chillin in guam readin bout it on the net as it happened.
I only joined because I wanted some cash for college and a job for a bit. Ended up being a little more retarded than I expected.
I don't like this country at all, and yet I am in its military. How ironic.
But whatever, I just do my job and collect my pay.
