I work for a fairly well known travel company, so I spend the better part of my day dealing with the moronic policies of the airlines, but today they have outdone themselves.
Most people know that your bags have to be under a certain weight, which is normally more than enough for your average holiday. Sometimes they will allow you to take more at a small charge if you are going travelling, or on an adventure holiday etc.
We had a passenger today who needed to take some medication that needed to be kept in a coolbox, but it would put her over the weight limit.
She was told she couldn't. A little harsh you'll agree.
But here's the real doozy. He husband was allowed to take his golf clubs, which also put his luggage over the allowance!
Excusemefuckingwhatnow?!
Lets look at this for a minute.
Biggest: Golf clubs
Most retarded shape: Golf clubs
Heaviest: Golf clubs 15kg, coolbox probably lighter
Most important: God damn medication motherfuckers
I don't think it's even a customs grievance, and if it was its easy enough to work out if they are what there meant to be and whether she really needs them.
Well I have some good news and some bad news, love.
The bad news is your going to die.
The good news is you hubby can get a quick round in afterwards.
I think I'll take a boat when I go on holiday next.
