...and the crying was kept secret.
...and the first bricks were laid.
...and a child was born; loved but resented.

...and communication became foreign.
...and the bricks continued to build.
...and like taffy the child was stretched and pulled.
...and the child began to splinter, the bricks were piling higher.
...and time moved on but the wall grew and the love faded.
...and eyes wandered for fill of a growing hole.
...and he strayed, she sickened, and the child began to break.
...and the end came, furious but expected.
...and she left him, taking the child, and leaving the past.
...and he was broken, the wall had been completed.

...and forgot the 3 other walls it takes to make a home.

this was great.
and for the first time ever I found I'm happy with my life. this epiphany came to me a couple of days ago when i found out a bully passed her degree- even if she did cheat on all of the coursework. I never managed to. but I'm better than her, everything I've done for myself I've done without cheating. I'm good at my job, I have proper friends and I love my home life.
