A friend of mine referred me to this website. I'm not sure why. It's funny that the link above is "willies" because that's exactly what I got when I read about it.
It's a nudist resort in Oregon. Not in Florida, or even California. Oregon, the Beaver State. Ironic, no?
They sure are proud: "Established in 1953, today The Willamettans is the largest nudist club in the Pacific Northwest with more than 400 members. We are a member-owned family club located on 40 acres in Oregon's Douglas Fir forest. Here you can relax in a clothing-free environment away from the stress of daily life. Nudists come in all sizes, shapes, professions and ages. We are no different from other people, just more comfortable."
One thought screamed through my head: LIBERALS!!!!
But political/ideological thoughts aside, have you ever considered a nudist colony? Read on.
Major events:
February 19th - Mardi Gras Pool Party. [How are these supposed to know if they are being flashed or not? No beads!]
May 27-30 - Spring Fling. [Fling what? Their clothes off?]
September 3-5 - Sunshine Festival. [I think they should rename this Moonshine Festival.]
October 15th - Halloween Party. [I thought you were supposed to dress up for Halloween, not dress down.]
Rest assured, wheelchair-bound people. All facilities are ADA accessible. Just because your legs don't work doesn't mean you can't be naked with the rest of them!
The site boasts tent and RV hook-ups available (some with sewage hook-up) and an RV dump station. Why go through the trouble? All you need to do is squat and release. The way it was meant to be done!!
Rents for the places range from $30-$50 per night. Not bad! But don't take my word for it. Go to the site and click on "To Visit." There it says: "We extend an invitation to members of all recognized nudist groups to join us for a day, a weekend or a vacation. To those not affiliated but who are interested in social nude recreation, we are here to answer your questions. Please call or write for information about an orientation and tour."
