"Who's there?"
The ship's night watchman shined the flashlight into the shadows. Unless he is seeing things
he would have sworn on his half empty bottle of gin that a shadow was making its way
across the dock.
"Come on buddy. My shift is almost over and I am fucking tired. Don't make
me come after you"
There was no answer from the darkness. Using the beam of his flashlight to illuminate his
path he cautiously walked up and down the rows of crates waiting to be loaded.
Pausing to listen he heard an intake of breathe.
"I am too old for this shit. Just come on-"
THUNK.

"Welcome to my home away from home" Bernice cried as she threw open the door.
Bubba's gaze swept across the room as he stepped inside.
"Well come on in. No use in standing there gawking."
"Well lick my ass and call me Mary.... Holeeeeee shitballs," Bubba whispered to himself and he wondered whether he should run or not.
It was total chaos. Monkeys, everywhere, swinging all nimbly bimbly from the furniture.
Poo and bananas littered the floor. Two monkeys had cornered a mangy looking cat trying to take the bell from its neck, one had made a fort with Bernice's mattress and the pillows and was trying valiantly to defend it from other monkey invaders who, from the looks of it, had found Bernice's make up and decided to use it as war paint.
"What in the flying monkey fuck is this?"
With an exaggerated pout Bernice stepped into the room.
"These are my babies. I picked them up from Africa a few years ago. They had no place to
go. What with all the indutr... industriz... you know, building stuff, the jungles are
being cut down."
"Well keep them in cages. Does the ship captain KNOW you have them?"
"Welllll... not exactly. See their cages are in the cargo bay. I went down there several times
a day to visit them but (sigh) they just looked soooo sad. You were sad, weren't you
snookums wookums," she crooned to a large monkey who was sitting by watching
the two humans with interest.
"Come, let's clean up and I'll show you the rest of the ship."

Meanwhile, in the ships "Vegas" room, the ships owner Hans was chatting with
Susan Sultry, Shane and Patrice Palance, and Rodrigo Rodriguez as they tried their hand at poker.
"So Hans," Susan cooed. Why aren't you married? A handsome wealthy man
like you is quite the catch. Why if I have a little more of this wine I just might
have to flirt with you myself"
Reaching under the table she ran her finger up his leg.
Hans looked up from his hand and met her eyes. In haste he threw down he laid down his
cards, gathered his winnings, and stood.
"Madame while I am mighty flattered to have such a beautiful woman woman such as yourself
sitting beside me I must bid you goodnight. We have a long day ahead of us and I must see
the ships captain before I turn in. I bid you goodnight."
With that he turned on his heel and walked away.
"Why of all the...," with red cheeks she turned back towards the guests.
Shane Palance let out a chuckle. "Seems not everyone falls for your charms, Susan."
"Shane!" Patrice scolded.
"What? Listen woman, if you correct me in front of these people again.."
"Excuse me. I think I am going to call it a night" A coldness came into Susan's eyes.
Leaving the Vegas room she hurried away towards her quarters.
As she ascended the grand staircase she planned. She felt sick inside but she had to
do whatever was necessary to secure her future.
As she turned the corner she screamed as she nearly tumbled backwards.
At the head of the stairs stood a monkey with paint all over its face
and a menacing toothy grin. In it's hand it held a human skull.

Correction: you could use what you had written as part five for part six.
Just make sure you link to all the previous ones in the post, otherwise people will be completely lost.

Oh, sorry, didn't read your message properly, I thought you were refering to his first attempt. I'll probably look and add a later addition but I'm finishing work soon so it might be a few down the line tomorrow, shame, I rather liked mine too, I don't often do any creative writing

That's what I was thinking too. That was a nice way to bring her bizarr actions in the previous section back and give it a grounding perhaps. Interesting.
Oh, and to anyone who wants to continue it, they should have to clear it with Munkeypants first so we don't get a bunch of people posting installments at once. That would be chaos.

This is getting fun! :D
I am loving what you guys are doing with this! Some good character development here in this one. I like that you brought some of the other characters back into it.
Now if we can just get more people to click on these and follow along, it'll be even better.
oops on the title, but spedmonkey will straighten it out.
That's what this story needed though...more monkey.
...and more cowbell would be nice too.
