There I was tonight, sitting at the bar alone, minding my own fucking business. Sometimes I just need time to grieve, to heal. Why can't people just let someone like that be.
"Vexx."

"Vexx, sweetie. You've passed out into your Hefferweizen again, and the bar's closing."
At this, I let out a mighty roar.
"Honey. I know it hurts you can't see her anymore. Sometimes they just.. well, scamper off." Jenna, my favorite (and incidentally, only) bartender smiled sympathetically. Then she looked me square in the eye, mustering up her best tough-love demeanor. "You've been here every night since Comcast cut your cable off. You've drank more vodka-based drinks than Filthy Assistant. Get out of this rut. Go home, vexx. Sleep it off."
She didn't mean no harm, she just didn't understand. For the past three years I had woken up at 6am every morning just to see Katie's smile, to hear her voice (some of my friends think its chirpy. I thrive on it,) to thank God every day for what I had. Christ this is embaressing, but when I jerk off I only think of her. God, I miss you Katie.
And now, its just gone.. she's gone.
And I'm yesterday's news.

Well, I already rated this a -1 and that's because I deemed it a -1. I got it. I more than got it. It was kind of a funny concept that I don't think you really delivered on. I've seen better (-1).
As for the comment I gave, I only gave it because this was the post that broke the proverbial "camel's back" and drove me to do it. Go back and read the post I was referring to below. It's of a serious nature regarding guys getting over past love. Looking back, it's actually amusing that I alluded to my serious post about such a topic here, of all places.
