It's been a while since I've posted here. I decided to join ubersite again. I finished up a year long wolf internship and now am heading down to Florida for a job that I got as a conservation and natural resource aide for a non-profit environmental agency. I'm making a quick stop in VA because my girlfriend (going on 5 years) is graduating tomorrow. It's been a tough battle for her. Her father got terminal cancer right after our freshman year. So she failed out of school because they wouldn't cut her any slack for missing classes to take him to chemo during her soph year. He died a year later and she got back into school. But two weeks after her father died, I joined the reserves and I left for Parris Island, S.C. for bootcamp and I was gone for 5 months. It was a rough time for her. She sucked it up and did well. I graduated a year before her and did an internship for a year chasing wolves in the wild so that we could go into the work force together. More of a symbolic gesture to her that I wouldn't move on. Turns out, she was just hired at the same place as I was. We're not working together because we have different jobs for the organization. I'll be in the field and she'll be doing outreach programs and stuff.
Well, she's at the vet getting our dog stuff to take with us and dropping her applebee's stuff off. And I'm suppose to be packing her apartment up, but I'm here at the school library doing this. I need to go and do that. later.

Wolf internship? Is that where you're stuck with a family of wolves for four months on academic credit? I had a similar deal once, but it was in high school, in Spain, and there were no wolves involved. I interned with jackelopes.
