Since finding some very odd pictures in an entomology book ( http://www.ubersite.com/m/70685 ), I've been looking for more odd/humorous/suggestive illustrations to post. At least it makes my job more interesting, since we're not actually allowed to read the books while working. However, looking at the pictures is permitted.
The following pictures are from the magnum opus, "Introduction to Fine Ceramics: Applications in Engineering." Apparently the Japanese editors felt the need to dumb-down their explanations for American audiences with this kind of illustration. I find them hilriously suggestive.
