I love these VMAs. They show how our culture is just BLEEDING with talent. The hell with James Brown, Wilson Pickett - even EPMD or Run DMC. My generation is just BUSTING AT THE SEAMS with talent.
Such an organized event - a rap concert. It's not the out of breath speaking of lyrics that gets me, it's the background come uppers & their "ho! ho! ho!" & "Wha-ohh Wha-ooh"s

The ladies of rhythm & blues - always coming through. The ability to resort to some of the older tricks in the book - music isn't sound - just get them clothes off - perfectly covers up how wonderfully similar they all sound. Collective talent & fucking huge thighs.
Ah, The Killers are on. Time to get up and get a drink. I can't stand the sound of instruments.
A Fifty Cent performance coming up. Another "rap concert" - it cannot get any better than this.

I disagree about The Killers and Green Day though. Maybe you were being sarcastic...couldn't tell. I've never been a huge fan of Green Day, but at least they're playing instruments and not strutting about scantily clad spewing rubbish.

I agree totally. I fucking hate RnB and Rap music. I recently watched the Justin Timberlake "Signs" music video. Which seems to be nothing more than Justin and Snoop miming like complete fucktards, with an assortment of ugly black women with overtly large butts (Which you "homeys" call the "ghetto booty").
Then they go home to their mansions, collect their paychecks, and sleep in a king size bed with their groupies. What are you gonna do...
