Bozzio is ridiculous, nothing he does surprises me. He's still the only guy I've ever seen cross his hands over on rolls. The Bozzio Levin Stevens albums were great.

FNM are amazing and as many said, almost all of pattons stuff is great.
I cant believe you people down there weren't impressed by Delirium Cordia though? I thought it was great, i think you have to be prepared to sit and take it in as a whole but still, technically fantastic.
Also during the latest fantomas tour Terry Bozzio played drums for them because Mr L was on tour elsewhere.
Get this... Terry Bozzio sightread the drumtab live at the gigs.

I may have very well creamed my pants the first time I heard that.
Patton is unbelievable, and everything he's done (except just almost everything he's done with Fantomas) sounds like it was touched by God. It's a shame the only FNM album that was played to the masses was The Real Thing, which was maybe their 3rd or 4th best album. It was great, but not their best, for sure. Whoever said King for a Day was too much like Mr. Bungle was right, but it was a large heaping of ass-kickery. Star A.D. may be one of their most underrated tracks ever. If you haven't recently, give it another spin. You may be surprised.

Fantomas and Mr Bungle are two totally different animals. The first Bungle CD still rocks. I guess that's part of the reason that I can't really go with King for a day - it was the guitarist from Bungle and it just doesn't feel like a FNM album. I'd have to go with Angel Dust and then Album of the Year, on which the guitar is very minimalist but somehow appropriate and still has a FNM feel but with a more modern edge. The Real Thing is a great album, but that was before someone taught him not to sing through his nose. Leaving The Perfect Crime off this list/CD is blasphemy.
The Track Patton did with Sepultura on Roots kicks ass as well, and Patton with Dillenger Escape plan was the absolute shit.

last album from Phantomos (sp?)I've rarely seen someone so let down. We couldn't even get halfway
through it.

I love Faith No More. They are one of my favorite bands ever. That said, I have a rule that any image posted here that requires mad scrolling can't get a positive rating from me. It'd be a -2 if it weren't FNM.
