So, does this mean anything regarding their respective football teams? According to this graph that was made by god, 85% of the time he sides with me. I like the Buckeyes.

I think it's because there are so many universities in Ohio, i.e. the MAC.
Also, too young? Please. The offense is going to be ten times better than it was last year with a more experienced O-Line. And they aren't going to lose six running backs to injury like last year. Iowa had the worst rushing O in the nation last year and still kicked the crap out of OSU. With Tate, Clinton Solomon (projected as a top 3 receiver prospect for the NFL), Hinkel, an experienced O-Line and deep running game, the Hawks will win the conference.
Hodge and Greenway are all-Americans and the secondary lost only Considine, who was replaced many times by Paschal in late-game situations anyway. The rushing D will be the only thing that loses out this year, but Hodge and Greenway will plug that gap.

Iowa's too young and other than Hodges and Greenway, their defense is suspect.
Nope, the favorites in my book are:
1. Ohio State
They have 9 players back from a very tought defense that peaked at the end of last year. Their only two losses were Fox and Fraser, neither of which creates a gaping hole in the defense.
On offense, they also have 9 starters back, and losing the two seniors from last year actually HELPS the offense.
2. Michigan
So much talent and speed on both sides of the ball, but they're VERY young.
3. Purdue
Nowhere near as good as Michigan or OSU, but they play neither, so they could slip into the top spot.

Mofo, I've been saying that for six months. I don't think OSU will lose, but it's the game that scares me the most, even more so than Texas - which is next Saturday - or Iowa in three weeks.
Why? Three reasons.
1. It's a night game on the road. OSU is 0-2 in the last two seasons when playing a night game on the road. They lost to Wisconsin in 2003 and Northwestern in 2004.
2. The only team that plays them tougher than PSU is Wisconsin. Tressel has had difficulty with those two teams since he took over in '01.
3. PSU's defense is fan-fucking-tastic and it will turn into one of those field position games where special teams are huge. OSU has a new kicker and punter.
I'm still calling a 16-10 win for OSU, though.

I wish my college hadn't been so damned draconian in its drinking rules...and had a decent football stadium.
Isn't Ohio football also known for having idiotic running backs that can't play in the NFL?
Also, your team name would be better if it was something 'offensive', since apparently the NCAA has magical super powers that should allow them to dictate public policy. You guys should replace 'Buckeyes' with some like 'Fucking Injuns raped my daughter!', or 'All black people should die'.

This morning I popped in my OSU marching band CD and sang along to Buckeye Battle Cry, Across the Field, and Hang on Sloopy. I also turned on the Neutron Man song and blared it full volume. It's a shame Orlas died last fall. I was going to put him in here, but this took me an hour and I didn't have time.
And no, I don't plan on going to any games as of now. Perhaps the Michigan game, I don't know. The jury's still out on that one.
