A few months ago, a very big hole opened in the earth in the American southwest.
For a while it recieved very little media attention.
No one knows how the hole appeared. No one knows how deep it is.
There had been many odd sightings in the vicinity.
For a time, people congregated there. Scientists. Students. The curious. The worshipful. Even the suicidal.
Preliminary investigations into the depth of the hole and its curiously aged appearance have yielded no answers.
Eventually the military took over, restricting access to the hole, and creating a base complete with barracks, laboratories, an airstrip, housing, and landscaping to "Ensure the safety of the American public and conduct controlled examinations of the phenomenon."
The Navajo are outraged by the presence of the military on their land.
This is just the beginning...

hmmm just because it realy interested me at first, but then i checked this out and couln't fined shit on edward tsosie, jay-jon connaught....
in the article it said that Tsosie went missing, but i read an obituary stating he died in march; before the hole "arrived".
