I don't know if many of you are familiar with AFL(only the greatest game in the world), anyway last night my team won and now have a very real chance of being in the grand final.
Now as a typical Australian I am not patriotic but when it comes to my team I am like an American on Independence day. Full of pride and love for my team, when they win I am elated. When they lose disappointed, depressed and uninterested in sex. Anyway WE WON AND THATS GOOD!!!!!!!!

Aussie Rules Football. Some fairly bizzare shit the first time I saw it on ESPN 8 (the OCHO). Dudes in multicolored tighty-whities and sleeveless t-shirt playing some wacky form of Rugby with small white dudes, wearing white suits and fedoras as refs.
As weird as it sounds, it actually was pretty fun to watch, though it took a while to figure out the rules.

i used to watch afl, some years ago it came on this one local sport channel.
I love the way they signify a score, it's so much better (and melodramatic) than the touchdown thing that refs do in american football
