So, what the fuck are we gonna do about the next Mardi Gras? Any suggestions folks? I mean, would anyone be willing to have it at their house this year? I'd love to do it, but the way things are working out, it looks like I may have some relatives visiting, and who knows whether or not they'll show up. This is a very serious issue that has been almost entirely overlooked by not just this fine website, but almost every facet of the media.
I'm afraid we have no contingency plan for this sort of thing, but we have to come together as Americans and pull something out of our asses. Come on America, let's hear what you've got to say.

umm they have a mardi gras party in mobile every year which is supposed to be pretty big.

I could probably swing it at my place. I know it might be weird at first to have Mardi Gras in Canada, but I have two spare rooms and a large basement that would be perfect for the large and rambunctious crowd. Plus West Edmonton Mall has a Bourbon street replica where we could toss beads.

I think the most obvious option is to relocate Mardi Gras. What's everybody doing the Tuesday before Lent? I'm gonna grill some franks and burgers. Y'all come on down to the house and let's have a party.
