The problem with perfection is that the sky is, in fact, the limit.
By the very nature of itself, perfection is a faceplant waiting to happen. What do you do when you reach that pinnacle of being?
At that point, you can only decline. Somehow, you will be corrupted. You know this, and at some level, although you fear flaws with every neuron-fired thought, you welcome the fall.
Because if you have fallen to imperfection, you have the opportunity to rise, and once again become a paragon of humanity. It's an endless cycle. Perfection, imperfection. Victory, despair. Joy, fear. Love, hate. Life, death.
You're a pawn of your own ego. Congratulations. You've reached reality.
