this is really a review gone out of control. Refer to http://www.ubersite.com/m/74887 to understand my justification.
Sorry- brianthetruthspeaker, You've won the "Bob Dole Rant o the Day", and another -2. The gif animation amlost won you a -1, but, the corss at the end screwed it up.
Although I do agree that the goverment is crossing the lines between chruch and state on a regular basis (anyone remember Shivo?) and it's not right- but this is a bit much. I'm agnostic. No- i don't hate god- i just think organised religion is WORSE than goverment. I choose to believe in my own way and I feel that I dont need to go to a building every sunday/saturday/religious event to compare clothing and (depending on the group) give money into a non profit organisation that doesent pay taxes.
I'm born jewish and my religion has got to have the worst BS method of collecting money. Anyone know what kosher is? Let me break this down: Way back in the day- a Rabbi (thats preist for you goyums) would inspect a factory or food processing plant to make sure certian saftey and religious standards were being followed. The company would pay a small amount (sometimes it was a free service) to the Rabbi to check the place out. Now- it's a multi-$k cost to have your joint inspected. and the real orthodox (utrla-religious) Jews only eat food that has the stamp for kosher on it. Thus funneling the very money we spend on food into the synaguage (church). At least the christians just take it from you when you show up every sunday; they're keeping some honesty about looting your wallett.
Also- not everyone who's pro-goverment (not me- for the record) is anti-religion, and just because some people (me- for the record) think serious religion is a crutch for those who need a moral backing, doesent mean they think it's wrong. It's just not for them. I dont need a support group of friends to tell me not to [smoke/murder/steal/cheat on my signifant other/whatever your major malfunction is].

where? what? huh? i dont see the "informed left" (laughing to myself on that one) taking down churches and burning crosses. not everyone who disagrees with you actively goes out and tries to undo religion. cite me examples of how the "informed left" is "...removing symbols..."

beerbong- when was the last time you burned down a church, or a cross or any other religions symbol? i'm not against you here- i'm just saying the post that spawned this seemed to think "informed left" was synomoyous with "extremeist liberal". cut me some slack here.

This gets a negative 2 purely for the cheap dig at liberals, which exemplifies everything wrong in politics. If a liberal made a joke about the "informed right" he would be nuked to shit by every conservative newspaper, magazine, website and politician. "LIBERAL HATE SPEECH" is all we'd hear.
