I, for one, am an proponent of euthanasia. It is a horrible decision and I wish it on no man or woman, but given the opportunity to either die quickly or in a long-drawn out affair....I'd choose quick and painless. Better yet, heavty doses of morphine would make it certain that I'd die without any pain.
While I sympathize with the doctor and agree that this decision will haunt her for some time to come, I believe that given the circumstances (looting in hospitals, etc [which is horribly disgusting in and of itself]), she made the correct decision.
As a side note, this site is rather morbid recently.

True or not, it is pointless to help people with cancer live an extra 2 days at the cost it takes.
If you take the same money and put it toward cancer research, it would be better spent.
