What if...
Someone (well, Bart) devised a system whereby people could pay to have other people banned from Ubersite. I don't mean $10 and bye bye Kai; But let's just say "Random Joe" is camping on all my posts, leaving truly stupid comments and streak-breaking -2's over an extended period of time, pissing me off and basically being a total downer on my entire Uber experience. Odds are, "Random Joe" is doing it elsewhere too, pissing off a whole bunch of people.
I could, and would, send bart $1 and say "I vote random Joe gets the boot". Maybe other users send in money too; it would add up. I am sure some of the idiots around here would generate a great number of $1 votes. Say that it takes an arbitrary number of $1 votes to get banned - let's say 25. Bart gets $25, Random Joe gets the boot.
Bart un-bans people all the time, for free. What if Bart allowed the idiots to BUY BACK the votes that they get? So, for $25, random Joe can get himself un-banned and get his account back. I bet he'd think twice about being a shithead again, and more than likely, they'd just move on. Horay!
I think I know Mr. Cilfone a little bit, and I trust him not to stack the deck for the sake of a few extra bucks - I think it could really work. What do YOU think? What would Ubersite be like without the shitheads? I think it would be GREAT!
What would you pay to get rid of your Uber nemesis? I bet Shlongy's votes & buybacks alone could pay Bart's yearly lease on a shiny new Mustang!
And please note: I LOVE the -2. Really. I use it often, and I respect it. I really feel that I don't get as many as I deserve, which is why I am such an avid Uberuser; compared to my real life, Ubersite is a love fest. Except for the nasty few who put sand in the lube... you know who you are.
