I'm pissed to no end that some college guy is jerking off in the middle of night/getting wasted/watching porn/getting herpes from my ex-girl friend while I'm working my 30 hours a week so I can afford college. Am I poor? Never thought I was poor til I realised I was working for 7.45$. I am still doing better than all these free ride kids though... so that should make me happy (with the exception of girl that is sleeping with most my profs I'm sure).
I'm not happy because the system blows. We'll not seriously. If the system gave me a blow job I'm sure it would end just before I reached climax and walk away, than I would sit there expected to finish the blow job myself, but I can't even get my hands down there because I have to keep stocking shelves. Even if I did get the climax the system would probably spit it up all over me. Maybe I got side tracked there.
Justice might come in the form of these lazy dicks/whores not being able to get a job... dying of AIDs and such. Who am I kidding though? Their parents have more connections than a 40 year old whore has had insertions her. Sometimes their parents manage 2 insertions at the same time and I'm watching there with a video camera wishing I could just some action.
There are quite a few people like me though. Having to make it by while working till the only thing coffee does is stop you from pissing all over yourself when you have to go. When your friends think your an ass for never hanging out with them. Life blows. Wait I covered that, life can't blow you enough.
I am going through for accounting so maybe if I'm good enough I can someday figure out a genius way to rip off the fortune 500 companies for millions or even billions. Than again maybe someday parents will cut of the life support line to their spoiled possesions and let them drown in their ignorance and die of AIDs or maybe Paris Hilton will stop being a whore. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe they should get a free ride. Maybe I should stop saying maybe and screw the girl next door... nevermind time for work, probably only get AIDs anyways for the free ride whore. College... only if you have a free ride.

I suspect that the ones whining at you the most are the ones who actually DID get a free ride, pissed it away, and are still living off mommy and daddy. In fact, I know this to be completely true for at least one person who wrote a review.
I wont lie, I pretty much have a free ride. I still have to work a full time job to pay for my car, house, insurance, etc. Most people who have a free ride through college earned it. They worked their ass off in high school and got scholarships. Some people cant afford to go to school recieve grants and Federal aid. Then there is the small amount of people whose parents can afford to pay for their kids school, housing, and everything. I personally spent didn't recieve many scholarships, so, not wanting to have to spend every waking moment studying or working, I did a little fucking research, found tons of money for school, that I qualified for and I applied.
Its not complicated shit, just use your god damn head. If you aren't going to do that, then shut the fuck up and hurry my order up. While you're busting your ass because you're a tard, I'm going to finish my papers and then go party.

Anyone can get federal financial aid, fill out the god damn form. It takes an hour. Shit, my financial aid covers my supplies, books, tuition and my rent for a month. And I'm a white male, if you're a chick or minority you'd be set through grad school. If you dont qualify for it, then your parents make enough to have set up a fucking college fund for your stupid ass.
Then again, after reading this incoherant pile of donkey balls, you probably couldn't even get in to Community College.

Either way, ya gotta work to go to college unless you're rich, and I could've agreed with anger toward rich lazy pricks, but generally the rich lazy pricks aren't the ones getting the scholarships.

I got a perfect score on the math part of the SAT, and that test was a joke. I finished in under half the time. I choose to stay in Canada because it is better. And because if it wasn't Harvard of Yale, I wasn't going. Either way, I paid my own way, I paid my own rent, paid for food, books, and everything whilst getting my engineering degree. Now, I am working, and making some decent cash, paying off loans and having the time of my life.
I still think that they should just raise taxes and make university free for everyone. Then we might have a few less idiots running around.

I can't really pity you. The reason you have to pay for school is probably because your spelling and grammar are so atrocious nobody would give you a scholarship. On that note, I'm surprised you even got IN to college, what with your masterful grasp of the English language.

Actually most of my money is coming from loans, so it's not really a free ride. I'm fucked when I get out of school, I suppose. Apply for a loan, and defer payments until you graduate.
Did you fill out a FAFSA? Have you visited Fastweb? Have you checked out the college foundation? Have you exhausted all options? You shouldn't work 30 hours a week if you can possibly help it. Obviously you know what the drawbacks are, because you are bitching about them. Do some research and actually APPLY for shit. You don't know if you are eligible until you try.

On the one hand: Look dude, I'm getting a free ride because I actually went out and applied for grants and scholarships and shit. No one claims me as a dependent, which means 0 family contribution, which means I get money with which to better myself. It's not being wasted. So fuck you.
On the other hand: If I were a dependent, I wouldn't be eligible even though my parents would be contribiting zilch, so you get a modicum of my sympathy.

Like Loki says, don't sweat it. I worked shit jobs COUGH COUGH Chic-fil-a COUGH COUGH for a while. My senior year I got picked up by an engineering company and am being looked to by the president to run things when he retires. I'm the "golden boy" if you will. That was a year ago and I'm still here, doing shitty work at a shitty desk for a company president that is waiting to retire. If I were you, I'd not worry about what other people are doing and instead focus on yourself. The classic moral story kicks in right about now too: What did Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein and Galileo all have in common? they all had 24 hours in a day.

I should add that I'm Canadian so my pay is similar to yours. Also the government does support people here but not me because my parents make too much money. I take 2 buses for 2 hours of traveling a day making a 20 hour school week a 30 hour one. Than I still have to make sometime for homework making about 80 hours a week. This although is more of a complaint about the people that have the free ride wasting their lives.

I have 2 academic free rides, and I work anyway, so I get all sorts of sweet money that I can spend on drugs and travel. You, on the other hand, quite obviously suck at writing, life, and everything else. You cant even complain well! Here's to hoping you get hit by a flaming bus full of autistic midgets only to wind up in the hospital schiavo style for a few years, and then wake up and find out that everyone in your family has died. Tragically, they also spent all of their money on gambling and hookers because they were so distraught over your death so you get nothing! Then maybe you can, like, you know, become a fucking bum because you just got out of a coma and dont have any marketable skills. After spending the rest of your youth, or lack thereof, I dont know, wasting away in the freezing cold underneath a bridge in a cardboard hut, you can get rescued by some sort of social welfare program that retrofits bums with something that will get them a job. You'll even be able to afford a place to live and then fall in love with a really nice girl! Op, turns out she has AIDS! Then she will die first, leaving you alone once again and even more miserable because you actually got to taste happiness. Then you can fuck off and suddenly die, in screaming agony, due to a brutal hate criminal who thinks you are gay because you have AIDS, before you have any chance to do all that cool "I'm dieing" stuff, like sky diving and traveling. Dousche.

Sure their lives are easy, the fuck off all the time and still manage to get a job when they graduate because daddy has connections, but fuck 'em.
Oh by the way, about two years after graduation, they'll be calling you with exciting personal finance opportunities because they'll end up working 80+ hours a week scamming for some investment bank and it will take two years for them to run out of other people to call and remember you.

I'm asking because what I highly recommend is that you try to get a job as an accounting clerk. If you can't find a permanent one, go to one of those temporary agencies and sign on to do grunt accounting work. The pay is better, you get experience, and it will help you with your classes.

It's my 2nd semester in the course. I'm taking co-op in my 3rd so pay will increase than. This is the hard part right now when I don't have enough experience. 3 year program. My co-op though will be a big help though.

Ok. Normally I would -2 you because the writing sucks...proofread, spellcheck, do whatever you have to do to pull it together. However, since I can completely relate to your point, I will +1 you.
If it is any encouragement, I myself was in the same position. I didn't come from a rich family (and not cause my parents were lazy, as someone had the gall to say) but I worked my way through a private university. Watching all those rich kids sucks, but when you get out and know that you not only graduated, but worked ten times harder than them the satisfaction is so much better. Hang in there kid, it gets better when you get out, trust me.
