I'm 3 days late...but Sunday, September 18th was the 35th anniversary of the death of one of the century's most influential musicians, and one of the greatest guitar players of all time, brought down by drugs in the prime of his career.
Too bad he couldn't have just smoked weed like a normal person.

First. I'm not dprime's fucking alter. He's my friend I used to go to school with, and we have common interests and beliefs. That's why we're friends. Second, I believe sleeping pills and alcohol are drugs, legal or not. And third, I know a hell of a lot about Hendrix, but didn't think it was necessary to shoot a bunch of bull about his life for a simple little tribute post, and I hate modern music, even though I'm only 15. I'm not gonig to hold it against you that you think I'm his alter when I'm not...you seem like a good guy and everyone seems to think I am. I think I'm gonna drop this account anyway just to get away from all the shit. It's hard to make posts when I get "Dprime alter auto -2" all the fucking time.

Brought down by drugs? He died of legal substances, i.e.,
sleeping pills and alcohol.

I was lucky enough to see him in person three times. I only
wish he were still around so music would still be music instead
