With the release of the matrix2, everyone has started raving about the matrix all over again. I don't get it.... what was so great about it? The movie was ok, but it was not a masterpiece, as everyone keeps trying to tell me. Here's why:
1. There was a stupid raver club scene.
2. The star of the movie was Keanu Reeves.
3. No bear attacks, whatsoever.
4. There was a helecopter scene for no apparent reason.
5. Only one of the bad guys actually looked bad... the other 2 or 3 just looked like conan o'brian.
6. Not enough people died.
7. The main character, neo, was some nerdy hacker type loser... which makes him lame.
8. The movie tried to tie in a stupid love story.
9. There was a scene where Keanu Reeves dove inside another persons body, then made him explode with a bunch of green lightning.
10. Except for one rage song, the entire soundtrack was a bunch of techno bullshit by massive attack.
11. Everyone wore tight black vinyl everything... and last time i checked, that stuff sucked.
12. The entire movie was about computers... LAME.

Neo's girlfriend was ugly too. The movie sucked ass, I dont get why everyone loves it so much. It was boring and just plain stupid.

Do you mean the first Matrix, or the Matrix Reloaded?

Can someone tell me what happened in like the last two minutes of the movie? After Neo stopped the machine things with his hands? I got up to go to the fucking bathroom because I thought it was going to go into another fight scene in like 5 minutes and it wouldnt take me that long, so I come back and its over....pissed me off

Matrix was okay, but Wayne's World is by far the best. Plus Keanu Reeves just blows, he was in the Bill and Ted series, but the black and white is he sucks at acting.

it kept me occupied for about an hour and a half, but that's about all the movie did for me. i'm not even going to see the second one unless i have nothing to do and a friend rents it when it comes out on video.

I thought that it was a kickass movie,plus the fact that my screening of it was so gracely interupted with some black girls and guys verbally arguing and then they all got escorted out of the theater. I thought that it had pretty good fight scenes and i liked that rave club scene. I thought the music was cool.

it woulda made more sense if the computer hacking bear was flying the helicopter and fell in love with the friendly looking bad guys in a raver club while wearing tight black vinyl ...... or would it?

I think a bear attack definately would have made it a better movie. Even if it was just in the background.
