During the Nazi occupation my grandfather was bookbinder in Olomouc. He was an atheist, and a communist. Once the Nazis caught him binding a copy a Leninist book - They bound him and set four big dogs on him. He lost three fingers and the sight in one eye. Though until his death in 1989 he maintained the worst part of the beating was that he soiled himself and they made him his eat his shit - even worse was he discovered he had worms as he ate it. He taught us all to hate Nazis. Later as a Christian he would always ask Christ to spit on Germany. In fact even now whenever I go to Germany I secretly spit on the clothes of as many people as I can on the metro. I remember the last time I was in Berlin firing a great globe of lung butter onto an exquisite lady dressed for the Opera. Damn Germans and there big cars, square jaws, and stinking beer. Anyhow so today I thought id tackle the subject of the nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia, and how my grandfather found Christ on the road to Bratislava.

Though what you lost in site you made up for in touch.

Your one-eyed lessons of love and Christ.
In your hut, we'd kiss the cross and make water on the Swastica.
In your hut I promised you to always spit on Germans
In your hut we thought of Christ
In your hut we talked of war
That hard war long ago - and the road to Bratislava.
Those square jawed Nazis fearless and toned.
Taking our women and fondling their holes.
Those jackbooted heroes, coming through town.
Sex touching our children acting like clowns
In your hut we'd talk of Ivan the Jew,
They dressed him as Hitler and gassed him for fun.
They took out his wife, and whipped her to tears.
Those jackbooted heroes they had no fears.
In your hut we'd drink vodka although I was too young.
You'd hold me and tell me Christ was good fun.
You met him you swore in the midday sun.
On the road to Bratislava carrying a gun.
He was dressed as a Nazi though just for fun.
He was hiding from the SS and on the run.
And how Christ held you close to his heart.
And how Christ touched you in your dreams.
Now the Western world gasses our culture.
Now Americans steel our women and drink our water
Those modern Nazis leading us to slaughter.
Now all we have to defend ourselves is Topol M
Sweet grandfather youre lucky your dead.
That was before Petra and I,
Before American TV showed us true evil
Before my sweet Petra first took that drug.
Grandfather hold me. the powers out again.
I remember you body laid out in the cold

I can tell you're an alter cos you misspelled "sight" in the poem when you didn't do it in the introduction. A foreigner wouldn't see the relationship between the two words, which means that you either did it deliberately for effect, or accidentally without thinking; whichever case applies, it is a mistake that could only be made by a native speaker of the language.

I am an Englishman not at all from the Czech republic and was never anyones alter, though i was once on this site as Lord Zinor. The whole Flarn-dorfar thing was meant to be a joke though some people actually got sucked inti it critising the poetry and the content. I mean references to Weetabix, Grandfatherly abuse and spitting on Germans can only ever be a joke - though some people fell for it. England is and England will always be the home of true alternative humour. So if anyone wants to accuse me of being an alter, well yes I am an later now of flarn-dorfar and lord zinor. Wont be doing any retaliatory -2s this time, though expect some comedy genius.

1. Meter. Find one.
2. A rhyme scheme should be consistent if you're going to use one at all. e.g. ABAB, ABBA, etc.
3. Holy fucking tense confusion, Batman. If you're going to narrate from your own modern perspective, fine. If you're going to narrate from some dead Nazi's perspective, fine. Don't fucking jump betweeen the two without a clear transition. It's confusing and sloppy.
4. Poetry can be personal, even abstract, but the reader should at least be able to understand what's going on without 5 pages of exposition. As I read this, I found myself asking "who is Petra, and why the fuck should I care?"

It is also well known that the Americans who liberated Auchwitz raped their way through the countryside and many were later prosecuted for war crimes. The British forces did most of the work at Devils Bridge as the Americans had been drinking the night before. Also the American soldiers were less battle ready and over weight. I dont feel that the US's token contribution to the liberation of Europe matters. You Grandad obviously killed those people in cold blood and should be tried for war crimes. Dont question the truth behind my post, my grandfather was a good, sweet, Christian man. Yours was probably a bad bad man.
You're one of the worst alters ever. Next time you decide to hack at my grandfather, have a look at what country I'm from.
