I could care less what you think will happen.
Now, for my take on the Playoffs.
Cardinals V. Sandiego: The Cardinals are good and the Padres are bad. If you need more in depth analysis than this, you are a moron. Find a tall building and leap off of it.
Houston V. Atlanta: Atlanta has again won the division, for the 312th consecutive year. this time with out Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz, big name free agent hurler, and token pitcher having career year, as their starters. They have done it with young players, and....hell, I have no idea how they have done it this year. Houston has Oswalt, Pettite, and Clemens. Houston's pitching overcomes the Braves offensive stars of tomorrow. Houston in 4
Chi-Sox V. Red Sox: I hate the fucking Red Sox with the passion of Imhotep and Ank Su Namun times a billion. I hope they have a train wreck on the way to chicago, nothing serious, just enough to keep them from participating and having to forfeit the series. But, since God hates me, the Red Sox will hit nine-thousand home-runs, David Ortiz will be elected president of South America and A-rod will be fucked out of the MVP (even though Post season isn't supposed to count). Red Sox win because Chicago is the biggest pretender since Harold Miner (Baby Jordan). Red Sox in 4. Who else could blow a 5 and a half game lead to NY in 17 days and come out smelling like a rose?
Yankees V. Anaheim: Jeter, Sheff, A-Rod, Matsui, Giambi, Posada, Randy Johnson, Mike Mussina, and an aging Bernie Williams. I truly don't see how they lose. But, they do. The Angels are enigmatic, their strength is the bull pen. Usually good teams have a stong bull pen but it isn't the back bone of the sqaud. Bartolo Colon is the AL Cy Young winner and A-Rod is the obvious AL MVP (whether he wins it or not), an intersting matchup. The Angels have the home field, but the Yankees have rounded themselves into form over the last two weeks of the season. Remember, they were 5.5 games back with just over two weeks remaining. The AL East champs prevail, but it will take Rivera in game 5 to hold it down.
I will now receed into hermitsville and will not be seen or heard from until the completion of the World Series.
And by the way, don't be so quick to count out Houston. The last several World Champions have all been wild cards.
And to all the Boston faithful, I hope this is the beginning of another 86 years.
Goodnight, Now.

Pen.... We could swap stories of heart break on the part of our hated opposition all night....Well, I could but you would eventually run out, that is what makes us so passionate about it.
I can respect your enjoyment of Yankee failings in recent world series, I would have done the same.
See, it wasn't Aaron Boone's homerun I enjoyed so much, it was the look on Pedro's face sitting on top of the bench in the dugout with a towel on his head as Wakefield walked off the field under a shower of confetti and through the loudest noise ever heard coming from the Bronx.

man, yankees lost that boone world series. if you want to be happy, look back to 2001 when they...oh...they lost in 7. forgot.
remember when everyone was cheering for new york because of the attack on the WTC, and Seth myers went on SNL and said that for the first time sox fans were rooting for new york....
Well, it was bullshit. I was jumping up and down on a table when the yankees blew it. it was so satisfying to see the dejection on their faces; i nearly wept with joy.
you could say that my pathetic display was one part obsession, mixed with a mild case of sports inferiority... and you might have a case. To me, it doesn't matter. still ranks as one of my top five favorite sports memories.

Yankees. Auto -2. I am cursed to love the losingest team in baseball history (the phillies).
Angels will win. Yanks will lose first round.
