Bait-car tape shows screaming thief aiming gun

Auto theft investigators in British Columbia have released what they call the most "chilling" bait-car video they've seen, showing an armed thief high on crystal meth as he drives at extreme speeds.
The tape shows Robert Osbourne, 29, taking a stolen truck on a drug-fuelled crime spree at speeds of more than 140 km/h.
Osbourne stole the truck in the Lower Mainland community of Aldergrove last June, not knowing it was wired with surveillance cameras, recording devices and tracking equipment.
The now-released tape shows him screaming obscenities while pointing a handgun out the window a total of 14 times, apparently trying several times to discharge it.
In just half an hour, the tape shows Osbourne stopping three times to break into other vehicles, as well as smashing into three more.
Osbourne ditched the truck and eluded police. But a month later, he was picked up in another stolen vehicle.
The bait-car tape helped convict him on 24 charges. He's been sentenced to four years in prison.
