Wait. The mainstream media is running ANOTHER story on disaster (see for yourself at: http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/asiapcf/10/12/quake.asia/index.html)? Give me a break already!
Apparently, Asia didn't get enough attention from its "Tsunami." Well I'm tired of it. The world has to move on.
My advice? Stop donating to the Red Cross. Stop feeding into the disaster frenzy. You are just encouraging these stories to persist. Hell I don't even know who Tom Cruise is dating any more. And don't tell me that attractive people have stopped killing their spouses while cheating on them. Don't tell me Michael Jackson has cleaned up his life. And you can be sure Kobe Bryant is doing more than just playing basketball. But do we see any of this in the news? Not these days.
It's always "disaster this" and "Iraq War" that. These endless disaster stories are boring as hell. Guess what? If I wanted to read about a bunch of dead people I'd go to a cemetary.
Unbefuckinglievable.

Amen. I think we need to know more about what's going on in the cribs of the stars. I think we need more people on our television worthy of my oogling and worship. I don't want to see people covered in mudslides and shit. That's just not attractive at ALL!
I mean, FUCK...CLEAN YOUR FUCKING FACES! You know those people have no self-respect if they go on TV looking like THAT!
Leik...PSHAW!!!
(I take it no one got the deep, scathing sarcasm in this post. That's almost as sad as the disasters themselves......but not quite. Close.)

Disasters, birth, death, higher taxes, impacted colons, and the occasional rectal bleeding!
***Shit Happens*** and when it happens to you you'll want some there to wipe your ass also!

I got the satire from your message pretty quick, if that makes you feel better.

Phallic, yeah... At least you gave me a legitimate -2. A little harsh, but that's cool.

+2 Satire, but my only suggestion is making it longer next time you do it- the short length makes it seem like just some shitty post with a shitty opinion behind it, not actual Sarcasm.

Man, you know who else is getting tired of disasters?
The innocent dead.

This is probably going to get a horrible rating. Maybe the sarcasm didn't come across but this post was mostly a knee-jerk reaction to the phrase "disaster fatigue" in that poll (not to mention the poll results). Carry on.

The problems go away if you just don't listen.

Those people didn't do anything to deserve being hit by those natural disasters. We have an obligation to help them. -2
I hate Michael Jackson and Tom Cruise. +3
