So I was at the local Wendy's with my ADD friends Thomas and Pavel. Thomas actually has ADHD, but whatever. I was munching on my sandwich thinking about Burger King commercials; you know, with the Burger King King being a creepy stalker and potiential rapist.
Then ADHD one speaks: "Hamburger, good."
Like he was some kind of caveman. But he has a low attention span, so one gets used to it.
Then it hits me: what if the media became more ADD sympathetic? I could see it now. Short, to the point, and very senseless commercials.
Imagine little ADD children sitting in front of the television and a Taco Bell commercial comes on.
The voice announcer would very quickly say in one of those car salesman voices: "Taco Bell! Taco Bell! Good!" The video would consist of flashing pictures of tacos and nachos. Then the commercial would end and the children would leap with glee, followed by pestering their mother to take them to Taco Bell.
But that doesn't end it. No. The next commerical would be Burger King. The announcer would yell: "Burger King! Good! Good! Go! Go! Now! Now!" More flashing images of burgers and chicken sandwiches. Then the ADD takes over and the kids change their indecisive minds.
I began to fathom beyond children. Adults and teenagers would have ADD... a lot of them would have ADD. There would be commericals like diet pills commercials: "Fat! Bad! Skinny! Good! Pills! Yay!"
I can only imagine what comes next.

There are actually sudies that show that the more television that a child is exposed to the more likely they are to develope ADD.
So you've got a chicken and egg thing going on here. And if your theory is correct, the world may be becoming more chickeny and eggy.
