Mental illnesses have a tendency to come out during college, I'm in my dorm room at six in the morning . I haven't gone to bed and I have been smoking. In my room even though I'm not supposed to, I have a towel under the door and fan to blow the smoke out the window. The window is still open so its cold and so I got dressed when I was just in my boxers four hours ago.
Ninety percent of people with schizophrenia smoke. I am convinced that someone has killed themselves at some point in time here. I don't know how to find out though without seemingly a little crazy. What if I did find out? Would I bring it up in conversation that someone killed themselves in my room? That would seem a little crazy if not morbid. I could just mention it to a couple close friends and wait for them to tell people and then they could bring it up. And then I could tastefully talk about it.
The problem is there is no good place to hang yourself from in my room. So that leaves a gun or a razor. Pills could work but it feels like it was done in a messy way. In the case of a gun the bullet had a good chance of breaking something that would have to be replaced or leaving a hole to be filled. I can't find any trace of this either.
One of my friends a smoker said he always needs a cigarette before going to bed, I smoke a cigarette before bed a lot in hopes that it will make me relaxed and sleepy, but it doesn't. It makes me alert insttead. I smoke my cigarettes to fast and get long glowing embers, I can't ash them without losign my cherry
