In the absolute silence, in a vacuum devoid of "place" or "time" there is a simple dot of light. A beacon of purity and brilliance that falls upon me, tiny and bright in the consuming darkness beyond the single point. I know not where I am, or if I exist because I cannot see myself but dimly, only the pin-point of radiance drops from a nail-hole in the ceiling.
That spot of daylight that aims straight and true to illuminate a tiny circle on the back of my hand, giving focus to a pale, naked skin and a scar I got a kid from falling out of a tree. I position myself under the dainty stream of light particles, shifting the beam from my hand to my arms, isolating each part of my body. I am not surprised to find I am naked, as the light travels slowly over the curves and lifts of my body. Fascination causes me to move slowly, trace the beam over skin, feeling the built up heat from such a diminutive avenue.
Leisurely as I am illuminated, I become clearly aware of my body. Of my Self.

Er...guess I should have told you before you went back to your room. I put Prozac in your Corn Flakes this morning.
