I realize that while I am still considered young by many including myself, I have the strangest feelings concerning my life. On one hand I feel like becoming single is the greatest thing that every happened to me since my ex and I broke up. On the other hand I still have this sinking feeling in my stomach and a hole in my heart. Loneliness is my only friend. A person can have millions of people around him and have friends everywhere but still be lonely. I am one of those people. The façade of my life is the mask of my desire to have a true friend. Now I am going to assume that you (the person reading this) must have heard people say the phrase "B-F-F-L!" And for those of you that haven't, I believe the rough translation is Best Friends For Life. Whenever I hear that I laugh on the inside knowing that in twenty years only a small portion of friends will even remember each other's names. I guess that's why high school relationships never work. But the knowledge that someone else in the world would do anything to make you happy is a feeling that I have only briefly experienced. I can truthfully say that this is the greatest feeling in the world. It was a rush every time I saw her. From the first time I laid eyes on her I knew that I loved her. And for anyone that reads this and thinks what a loser: I don't know you and may I remind you to learn to appreciate that what's written is always written for a reason.
