I wish that in Gaelic, your name meant magical. Blessed. But it doesn't.
I'm not good with words, and I don't know how you'll feel about my breaking into your circle here, but some things have to be said, and some things I just can'th say, like the word "force," which comes out as "forth" because of my lisp. I think them, but I don't know how to make those syllables come out of my mouth. But the year I've known you has felt magical. You've made me strong, and your huge paycheck has made me feel protected.
It's my job to provide for you, love you, and to bend you over and smack that phat ass, but those are all the things that you've done for me. When I've been down, you do "our little secreth" fantasy and pick me up. When I've been alone, your panties comforted me. You lead a crusade every day to score some smack and make my life a little brighter, and in return, I forthed you to work at Captain D's, I've broken your good credit rating, and I've demolished your Impala. I don't come through when I thay I will, and I never keep my promiseths. And boy, have I made promiseths. I'll say anything to keep you, because I can'th make meth without your kitchen.
YOU'RE so much more perfecth than I deserve, and I worry that you'll see the loser that I really am and then you won't buy me beer anymore. And my life will be dark and lonely and wasthed because I can'th forth you to pay for it.
You work all day, then come home smelling like hushpuppies and clean and take care of me. And I never reciprocathe. Bubba2341: I'll re-phrase it. SOME of the best writers have moved on. Here is a direct quote from an e-mail to me by one of those authors. I'm pasting now:

I also agree with you that "there are still many excellent authors here". I do take exception to the last part of your comment and I will put it into context for you...
Wisher is not a personal or even internet/chat-friend of mine. He/she popped by a recent post of mine and yes, he/she gave me a +2 as did three or four other Uberites. Shortly after, this same post was ruined single-handedly by someone who is either schizophrenic or bi-polar or both. That user first gave me a +2 with corresponding positive remarks -- directly followed by a number of -2's with negative, character bashing and silly comments. (maybe he was drunk ... don't know)
Wisher, being of sound mind, took exception to the negative comments and came to my defense. (I was either sleeping or at work but I sure as hell was not here.) It was actually quite hilarious for me to come back and read the exchange - and thank you once again, Wisher, although I suspect you were talking to the proverbial wall (...might as well talk to the wall etc.)
So if I came here with a *slightly* inflated rating and an expression of gratitude, it was just a little more than "mutual ego stroking crap" -- but I do know what you mean by that; It goes on pretty well every day around here -- par for the course I suppose.
For what it is worth, I did look for Wisher's e-mail address and would have likely thanked him or her in a more private manner. Not having that option, I came here.
May I ask you a favor? Again, Wisher is a good and kind-hearted, not to mention intelligent and perceptive person -- unlike a peckerhead like myself. He/she does not deserve negativity on this post or a petty argument between other members of Uber. If you feel the need to respond and get 'one-up' on me -- like so many others here at Uber -- then please go slam one of MY posts or e-mail me at: < latheman_67.at.yahoo.ca > . I will definitely not continue any sort of argument or debate here on Wisher's post.
I will likely not engage in any further argument at all. Christmas is approaching; I have a full time job, a family and 100 other things I should be doing -- even right now. If you need the Last Word, then by all means have it. I won't read it here. In closing, let me wish (this could turn into a small pun) both you and Wisher (there it is; wish Wisher :-) all the best for the upcoming holiday season. I am sincerely sorry if I've upset you or made you angry. Take care.

I gave you this rating because it was the beginning (or close to the beginning) of a bandwagon. The bandwagon ended up sucking, so naturally, I was angered at its creators. Now that I've actually read it, this piece isn't that bad. The picture is humorous as well.
