Dance
So it's time to dance again with these steps so set in mind,
Waltzing towards a memory a dark shadow sure to find.
Side to side in steps of rhythm from a fearful beating heart,
For tonight this ballroom seems so lonely as the dancers are apart.
Yet I wrap within a trance so true within an absolute of essence,
A scent of soulful decadence I'd be basking in your presence.
Hand to hand then eye to eye each measure sure to shine,
A ballet of gothic gratuities amongst an audience of wine.
A feast of souls to share in thoughts and wild little grins,
And sip the night into today as we slowly consume our sins.
Step by step we dance again yet not so close this time,
Aroused by self-stability, as the dance is now sublime.
Deep in mood it twists within while worming for a feel,
The dance now thrashes violently once golden now is steel.
Forged as molten melodies the dance assumes a song,
Now deeper in a subtle self it serenades my soul as strong.
Whirling wanting wishing thoughts dreams do dance delight,
I sweat the hopes of purity in the dance I dance tonight.
