"...it's hard to stay mad, when there's so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I'm seeing it all at once, and it's too much, my heart fills up like a balloon that's about to burst."

When I first saw the movie American Beauty, I didn't really understand it. I got the basic gist of it, but the finer details, like the line above, the parts that make the movie really stand out in my mind now, I didn't understand until I saw the movie much more recently.

But now I see it, this beauty that Ricky Fitts describes. It's so simple, really, because it's everywhere. The way the clouds randomly fill the sky. The contrasts of the colors of the trees in the fall. The way snow looks as it's falling. The sound of thunder. Those weird days when it rains and the sun shines at the same time. All the times I catch the sun at some angle and can see the sun's light in beams. I live for my drive to work, because there are so many instances of these kinds of things. I can wake up, exhausted from work and school, and be refreshed by a simple view before I get to work.

I wonder how many (or few) people notice this or feel the same way. Do other people notice the beautiful things in the world as they go, or do most simply just pass it by without consideration?

There is so much beauty in the world. How couldn't I see it all before?

Hey, if you really like those two paintings, I could give you a deal on prints if you'd like.

If you do, my email is william.at.swmoore.com

If you don't, I'm glad you like them anyway!

good stuff, nice sentiment.

I've long enjoyed the beauty of my surroundings, maybe some of that comes from growing up in the black hills.

Beautiful pictures. Too bad you're from New England, apparently.

Although I'm technically living in New England right now. Bah, technicalities.

Cool trees.

As for the cheerios, that's sick. It certainly belongs here on Uber.

I saw a bum taking a dump on the train this morning. The way his brown turd contrasted his nasty brown ass...the way it went "Brrrrffff" and then "plop, plop" as it fell to the tan floor. So much beauty in the world, so much...

The beauty often goes unrecognized because it's usually much more subtle than all the ugliness.

Ricky Fitts was a coked up, stalking rapist whose heart could explode due to beauty.

Fuck Ricky Fitts and his gay demeanor. Fuck him and his queer military father. Fuck nature. Nature blows. You know what those pretty colors on the trees are? huh? It's death. It's leaves dying!

You change colors too when you die. Beautiful shades of blue/green and gray. You also smell like a horses dick. Does that make you beautiful? NO!

FUCK YOU!

The female figure is a work of art, not to be taken for granted much like nature. This post needed more titties.
