Tuesday is Election Day in Texas. Prop 2 is up for the vote, and that's got the entire state up in arms. Prop 2 is an attempted amendment to the Texas Constitution which states that marriage is a union between a man and a woman, and no one else. I, frankly, don't give a shit if the gays are allowed to marry or not. It doesn't effect me one way or the other. To quote Rowan on this one, I see no reason why gays shouldn't be allowed to get married. Let them suffer with the rest of us.
Protest groups are lined up around the block to make their voices heard, and one of them is the Ku Klux Klan. That's right. The freaking KLAN is going to march on the capitol tomorrow afternoon, and I want to be there to see it. I know it sounds white-trash, but I just can't help it. I'm from San Diego... the Klan doesn't march in San Diego! I wanna take pictures and send them to my friends back home! But noooooooo.
Seems that one of Rowan's friends is moving to Finland for a year for some reason I don't understand fully, and he leaves tomorrow afternoon, and she and her cronies have planned some kind of going-away party for him tonigh. I wasn't really complaining at first. My woman's doing the cooking and I get to sit around with the rest of the guys and play Burnout Revenge and smack her on the ass every time she walks past me? Sounds like a sweet deal to me. But then I found out that we were going to be making it into an all-night rager, which will mean that we won't make it home till the sun comes up, and will therefore want to sleep till 3 or 4 in the afternoon. Problem. The Klan is marching at 1.
I broached the subject with Rowan and she said, "What the hell do you want to go watch the Klan march for? It's just gonna be trouble."
Yeah! But it's the freking KLAN! How many times in my life will I get to see a state-wide march of the Klan? THESE ARE CIVIL RIGHTS-ERA ACTIONS, WOMAN!

Except that I know she can hang out with her friends for 12 hours and not get bored, so long as she's high enough. Or drunk.

The argument went on for about 30 minutes. She never raised her voice, and that's the worst. She was totally calm and had a look on her face like I was a small child she was humoring. That pisses me off the most.
Now she won't have sex with me until I promise not to go to the Klan rally. So until I get laid again, I hate fags.

Hey fucko, you are so whipped. I'd say go fuck some other chick, but when you got into this relationship, you obviously put down your balls as a deposit. Why are you even arguing the point? Just leave when you want to leave.
But just realise that if you do go to this rally it will be lethally dull. It will be hot, people will smell bad and it will be a generally boring, unpleasant experience. (the party on the other hand will be great - someone will break out the cocaine 2 minutes after you leave and a crowd of strippers will arrive en mass and dish out impromptu lesbian sex shows all night).
However, if you choose NOT to go to the rally... a full scale riot will break out, someone will petrol-bomb a fetish club and swingers and dwarves in gimp suits will pour into the streets and engage in vandalism and lewd acts. The police will open fire and accidentally tear-gas a bus filled with greek tourists...etc etc... People with pictures will be paid obscene amounts of money for them by the media networks.
Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Oh, and to answer the question of whoever it was that asked, the reason he won't go home without me isn't a trust thing, it's a laziness thing. I don't like to sleep at other people's houses unless I have no choice, and he's too lazy to get up and come get me when I'm ready to go home. And I don't trust the people at the party to take me home... they'll all be drunk or high.
