Hello Uber. I have been well busy. Here is a quality post.
Last week was half term so I hired a villa in Cyprus with some friends. These are the mistakes I made:
1) Time to get to airport.... we were flying on a Friday night and we all had work on the Friday and we cut it fine.
2) Driving Campervan to airport. It broke down 20 miles from London Gatwick, and we had to abandon it, and pay £50 for two taxis.
3) Flying with Helios- they overbooked the filght- our friends got the last seats on the flight and we had to fly out the next day!
Once we got there it was all lovely. We drank loads of rough old red wine and went snorkelling and got into many border related incidents. Cyprus is beautiful and friendly and I recomment it to all of you.

We went for a week- it was half term which means all the kids in England and their hard working teachers get a week off.
The butterfly doctor was supposed to come but they wouldn't give him the time off- he works in a University and their term dates are different. He's coming down to visit today- we are going for a walk and to a Turkish restaurant.
I didn't have any paranormal experiences in the dungeon. Half of cyprus is occupied by Turkey- The Turkish republic of Northern Cyprus, and they are very strict about who can cross to that half to look at castles (Greeks aren't allowed over) we were worried we would be late back, or not allowed back over the border or something, which altered the castle enjoyment.

I am in the RAC (like breakdown insurance) and I had a big fight with them on the phone and arranged to hide the keys under the car, and they towed it back to my house while I was on holiday and we all got the train back. (cost £100) spark plug.

Nice trip
October and November seem to be the best months to travel to the Med since it's on the cusp of the off season for most of the destinations in that area
Last month I also took a short, 7 day, trip to that general location in the world
Since I possess a defect of; always sensing the potential for failure or hate, I decided not to post about the trip

Is that Greek Cyprus or Turkish Cyprus... when I left Europe there was some problem with them and their EU status... it sounded to me like one of those places you'd never want to go, but then again it must be nice to be able to go places without people trying to blow you up for being American.
The plus two is for the model prison/dungeon, but someone beat me to the Silence of the Lambs quote.
