Flinky stared at the melting ice in his double scotch'n'rocks, letting his mind wander. The bartender noticed this lack of movement, but continued serving the other patrons. After about 30 minutes, however, he couldn't help stirring the ferret from his daydream.
"Hey there, fella." Flinky spilled half of his drink as he snapped out out of it with a violent shake. "That's okay, I'll get that. Sooo, eh...how're ya doin' there, buddy? Ya haven't touched your drink since I served it to ya more'n a half hour ago!"
"Oh, well...I...I'm not really sure. I barely remember ordering the drink, to be quite honest. This just seemed like a good place to think and uhh--reflect, I guess." Flinky paused and squinted as he surveyed the bartender's demeanor. After all he had endured recently, he could not entirely trust anybody. The moose seemed to react infavorably to this inspection.
"Hey there, I dunno where ya think y'are, but around these parts we tend to trust folks. If I look funny to ya, well, ya can finish yer drink and leave right out the door there!" The bartender's eyes widened and nostrils flared as he spoke. Flinky sensed that the bartender was a good guy, albeit agitated at the moment. Not wanting to engage this very large beast in battle, Flinky quickly explained himself.
"Sorry about that, bro. It's just been a rough time for me lately." He finally took a sip of his drink. "Wow, that's some good stuff!"
"Ain't it, though? Straight from my highest shelf. Makes you wish you hadn't spilled that bit before, eh?"
"Yeah...:::sigh:::" Flinky smiled weakly at the moose, then resumed looking at the glass.
"Hmm, I tell ya what. It's a slow evenin', being the middl'a the week an' all. Hows about ya tell me yer problems while we both enjoy some o' my scotch, eh?"
"I dunno..."
"On the house."
"Oh! Well, yeah!"
"Ya seem like a good guy, there. I'm usually a pretty good judge o' that. Name's Morrison, but you can call me Mo like everyone else likes to. Let's top you off there."
"Thanks." Flinky took a more generous gulp than before, knowing there was more where that came from. "I'm Flinky. So...should I start from the beginning? It's gonna take a while."
"Well, I own this little establishment, so if ya go past closing I don't think anyone'll be kickin' ya out." Mo smiled jovially, inviting Flinky to feel comfortable.
"Alright. Well, it all started when I woke up a few weeks ago next to a severed horse head..."

There's always room for more ferrets on Uber.
I liked this, keep it going.
Don't write in an aardvark though, the new super villain in Fintan episode 4 is an aardvark and it would take forever to redraw a new character.
