Ok, here is my overall impression of you and your music...
There is this child-like aplomb that courses through your compositions that should not be lost in any subsequent rerecordings of these songs. This quality compliments the lazy, beach bum arrangements, and tongue in cheek, often esoteric humor of the lyrics. There is an uncaring playfulness that comes from knowing that few people will probably ever really care to listen to it and hear what's really in your heart.
While I can see that there is room for improvement, too much refinement would only detract from the overall charm.
To me, the best music is make when the player is facing the wall of his inner self, and the only intended audience is his own ears upon which the sound is reflected. This is why your stuff appeals to me. It's real and it's honest. You play what moves you and that's it. If it moves someone else then so be it. If not, that's ok too...
Keep doing what you're doing and I'll keep listening.

Cool. Can you send me a WAV file? I could convert the mp3, but it would be better sound quality if you sent WAV. Of course, if you have a way of syncing it up, I could just send you the naked drum file and let you do the mixing.
Tell you what, just email me and we'll talk about it: electrictoothsyndrome.at.gmail.com
I'd be glad to do drums on whatever you like. Some of your songs should be without them, but there are a couple that I think could benefit from drums or some kind of other percussion.

My only critism is the vocals. I can hear the harmonies you're going for, but the singers aren't quite hitting it yet. (And the mic you used for that recording wasn't getting very good quality on the vocals either, but that ain't your fault. Good vocal mics are expensive...)
Other than that: the intruments sound great, and I think you've got a good ear for lyrics. :)
+2 for writing music!

lyrical development? there is a chorus, a bridge, a breakdown, and an outro. there is a simple melloncollie feeling to the song. if i added more lyrics the song would be too long... and you were complaining about the last 15 seconds which happen to be my favorite.

nice and chill. you're counter melodies are pretty good. i coulda done without the last 15 seconds of almost silence though. i really would have liked to have heard it with better sound quality, especially on voice towards the end. if ets plays drums, i'd be happy to help you with a second guitar and/or bass.

for now it's just me... i sit in my room in austin, tx and make these shitty recordings. i want drums on all of them. i've met drummers that i want to record with, but they don't want to record with me and the drummers that want to record with me i would rather not record with them. fucked...

Some of your stuff could use drums, but other than that, good. Where you from? Is it just you, or you got others you play with too?
