Many of you probably have seen the ads. Yes, Bart is selling out. Ubersite had started as an "an experiment to see if a website can generate and maintain itself after an initial code installation."
Now it has become an experiment to see how fast it can descend into teh suck. It has gone the way of MTV, Cherry Coke, and yes, the MP3 file.
The next change to be implemented will be a change to the "rate this item" function. See below

i never even saw the ads...
i have squidGuard running at work
and i use firefox everywhere(which seems to block google ads anyway)
besides there is an otion to turn off the ads.
Why shouldn't Bart make a buck or two from the hordes
who end up here from B@W everyday?
I think he has done a great job of intergrating some revenue
collecting whilst still trying not to piss of the REAL users of Über.

There is a box in your preferences you can tick to get rid of the ads, bless Bart's soul. +2 becuase I felt the same way when I didn't know this, and for the "pudding" auto-comment.
