Jackson Bond!
I'll get back to that in a second. I promised more hotel stories, and you're getting one.

You may know that I have a new job at a hotel. It's the same as every other hotel job. Fake smiles, crap work, general chaos for most of the day. BUT, unusually, I like this job for what it is I suppose.
For one, it's a lot more laid back than the one I was in before. The managers are all really cool, except Rod, whom we're trying to get fired for sexual harassment. Fitting name, is it not? So far, my coworkers and I have played hours of Text Twist on zone.com, watched movies, and taken naps in the evenings. Can't beat that. I haven't worked the 7am-3pm shift yet, which I'm sure is not quite the same, but luckily I'll only be working that shift once or twice a week.
The worst part of my job is the walk. There is no parking, so I park on the opposite side of the harbor and walk over. When I leave from work at 11pm, it's cold, dark and scary. There's little scarier than walking through east Baltimore in the middle of the night. I recently bought a puffy little blue coat for winter. I broke down and got it after several layers of sweatshirts were not working out. I zip it all the way up and the darn thing even has a hood! I'm excited about this coat, you see.
So, I'm walking with my hood up since there's like a 1 degree wind chill, and hear a noise behind a fence. WTF! I look over quickly, but get nothing but the inside of my hood. You know, your head turns, but your hood doesn't. I have to turn completely around to see what's up. There was nothing, but I pulled out my pepper spray anyhow. This was a 5 minute ordeal, too. It was stuck sideways in the little pocket of my purse. If there was really someone there, I'd surely be dead. But all was well.
The best part of my job so far is who is staying there. Not Nicole Kidman. BUT, she is filming a movie (The Visiting) in Baltimore/ DC, and the whole Warner Brothers crew is staying there! How awesome! You people in Cali are saying "Big deal." I mean, crimeny... Tinactin was in a freaking Spanish music video for crissakes! But us non-NY east coasters aren't used to that. Now, Nicole was across the street filming one day, but I didn't see her. My manager did, and one of our guests got a great picture of her, but I missed her.

Back to Mr. Bond. Jackson Bond. He plays the role of Nicole Kidman's son in The Visiting. He and his family are staying at the hotel. He's going to win an Oscar so watch out for him. This is his first movie, so there's no imdb to share. Just take my word for it until the movie comes out. He's an adorable little blond boy who looks like he's about 5 years old, but who is really 9.

ive seen robert de niro, matt damon, john tutorro, angelina jolie and ben stiller...
including seeing de niro and jolie at lunch about two tables down.
but yea, fun times.

Nicole Kidman is my freebie. Wifes is George Clooney. I do not know why, but I find her absolutely hot. The movie the Human Stain when she is in the red dress, damn she is just beautiful.
