I am a guitarist and usually like heavy stuff like greenday or limp bizkit, but also play acoustic sometimes because it's easy and impresses people easily. Here is an acoustic solo I wrote and recorded, you can download it for free. My band (Stemroid) is going to set up a website pretty soon so I'll keep you posted, were gonna have free songs and song lyrics, tough it won't all be like this, it'll have more power chords.
Haven't seen any musicians on the forum yet, but if you play an instrument or know music feel free to give some constructive advice. Thanks.

You play guitar like my niece does. She can make diads and beat on the strings and move her fingers along the fretboard whilst picking the appropriate string (most of the time) and make all kinds of non-musical noise.

Eurgh. I think that sums it up fairly well.
As much as I hate to criticize home-brew recording, as I do it myself, this isn't fabulous. It *might* work if it was a solo for a free form jazz piece. In my opinion, jazz is the only genre in which you can pull off a REALLY out-there solo, and even then, it's mainly people who have established a good reputation, like John Coltrane or Keith Jarrett.
I suggest that even when doing solo recording that it isn't literally a solo; I would recommend getting a multitrack recording program like Adobe Audition (or if you'd rather not steal it, Audacity, which is open-source), play the instruments yourself, and make a still-polished song. But if this is really what you like, get hold of the niche that likes free-form improv, because it is out there.
Uberites are cruel; I would NEVER post any of my recordings on Ubersite. There are music sites out there that are far more hospitible regarding home recording.

Constructive Criticism:
Go listen to Eruption by Van Halen a few times. Then look up a man called Yngwie. Then realize there are hundreds of guitarists just as good, and some even better (See "Phil Keagy" and "Eric Clapton"), and then go cut yourself. Jesus, I'm going to have to listen to Foghat all night to clean that out of my head.
