I'm not concerned with what kind of rating this will get. I think that with all the time I spent on here, those who know of me deserve to know that I'm not coming back.
First I want to officially apologize for what happened with DPMII. I promise that it wasn't simple neglect. Shit happened in 'real life' and the contest suffered. I'm sorry, and though I didn't endorse the continued one by someone else, please note that I wasn't mad about it, and that if you think I was, you're mistaken.
I may come back so that if anyone enjoyed the few serious pieces of writing I did on here, I can show where to 'keep track' of me. I have no idea how likely it is that any number of people will want it, but a 1/10^40 000 chance of someone making use of it would be worth all the "I don't care"s conceivable.
I may also review serious things if I'm bored, on a computer, and can't do something else one day, or if I'm in a mood to read and write about other people's work. It won't have the 'personal touch' of mine that you all hate and sometimes find humorous (once again the good is more important to me than the bad.)
This site was fun, and like Bart has said "Ubersite is society. If you hate it, you hate society." That is, if society is liberal white western males between 14 and 26.
To everyone who hates me:
I've had my vices on this site and have spent a lot of unconstructive time on it, but you probably put way too much thought into me. As far as my alleged egotism, I assure you that my real problem was that I write (wrote) too much senseless bullshit. I am a confident egoist, but not in the 'show off' sort of way. That was all either stupidity and Internet time wasting, or an honest attempt at analysis you didn't understand. It's also superfluous to try to judge my life in general on here, seeing as you both don't know of it and probably have different standards. I'm not going to lose sleep over you, don't lose sleep over me, or valuable Internet time.
To those who didn't:
It was fun.
I'm leaving simply because this place isn't worth the time, and that probably goes for a lot of you as well, but what value it had still remains.
