So it's official, there's going to be a Canadian election.
And no one gives a shit.
We're having a pointless election in which the exact same people are going to get elected, and we're going to fight it over either non-issues or the same issues as the last one. I think I finally understand why some people are so damn apathetic about politics. Hell, it makes me feel downright American.
I recognize that most readers are American, and that this election will matter about as much as the Grey Cup (which was yesterday). And you're right, this won't matter. This is half assed.
Man, when this country decides to suck, we go all out like a Vietnamese hooker.

No one gives a shit because most Canadians aren't worth giving a shit about.
As for the Grey Cup, that was one of the best football games played in the last decade, NFL included. Sure nobody south of the 49th cared, nor should they have, but don't take away from it - it was a good fucking football game.
