I haven't been able to fall asleep all semester. Of course I do sleep, but only when my body completely shuts down on me. I think I've forgotten how to sleep. I don't remember where I am supposed to put my arms or which way I am supposed to have my head turned. Pretty much all attempts at having a good night sleep just leave me frustrated. Luckily classes have proven to be a great place to catch up on sleep.
I think I'm happy, but I'm not sure. I find happiness in lots of little things, but I lack a unifying thing in my life to make me happy. So while I am almost constantly in a state of happiness, I never am happy. Then again is it ever possible to fully be an emotion? Can one let an emotion overtake them so much to the point where that is their identity? Well, minus goth and emo kids of course.
I want two things for christmas; An honest full conversation with someone where I can truly feel that they are alive, and a random silly conversation with someone where I remember why it is great to be human. It's a shame that it's nearly impossible to find one person to do both with.

Romantic love is not real. That is "in love" and has nothing to do with love. Too often people confuse infatuation and lust with love. Love isn't something that you can fall into or fall out of. There are no different kinds of love. There should be no difference between the love one has for their family and the love of someone they are in a relationship with.
The best part of waking up is indubitably hitting the snooze button.
One of the things I always do is change the name of my characters in videogames. I will always change a female character's name to whichever girl I have on my mind at the time. It's my way of thinking that while I am not with them at least I can somewhat grow close to them. In this way every game I have is a memory of the specific girl. It's a shock to load a game and see a name you haven't thought about in years, but I don't have the heart to erase them from that game despite the fact that they have long since been erased from my life.
