Over the past week or so I have been reading and watching some news articles about cops using excessive force while pursuing a driver who won't yield to officers. The first I heard about recently happened here in southern california (home of the car chase). An armed man in some beater of a car was running from cops because he stole a bunch of shit and shot someone.
Now here is the interesting part. The cops chase him for like an hour finally this dumb ass crashes on the freeway and jumps out of his car. He jumps over the center median or a major freeway and starts running across rush hour traffic. Now the cops have no choice but to follow.
So one cop is right on his ass and this stupid fucker running from him starts dodging in and out of cars stopped on an off ramp while holding a gun. The suspect gets down to a major street that runs under the freeway and is about to start running across it. I guess this is where the officer finally said fuck all that. He pulled out his gun and shot at the guy four times. He hit him in the leg once and ended what might have been a multi fatality accident on a major street.
Now this guy was armed so the officer was considered to be well within his rights to shoot the guy. Today I read a similar story only this took place in Clinton Tenn. These two officers on a late night patrol follow a van that is using stolen license plates. They try to pull the driver over but she fails to yield.
The two officers follow her for a few miles and finally get around her and pin this dumb ass on the shoulder. The officers jump out guns drawn and she guns the engine like she's going to run there asses over. So again these two cops did what I'm sure would come naturally to anyone who thinks they are about to get rundown by some drunk red neck hooker in a beat up van. They unload their weapons into the front of the van.
Sixteen rounds from one officer go into the radiator and engine and two rounds find their way into the cabin of the van from the other. Of course the lady stops and throws her hands up and lets the officers take her away. Fortunately for her she wasn't injured but the two cops were fired for violating use of force policies. I say thats bull shit.
I get tired of being interrupted at night while I'm watching TV by some jack ass who wants 15 minutes of fame while he runs from the cops. I say every officer should be able to shoot at a person fleeing. Then maybe people wouldn't run and risk everyone's life because they don't want to get a ticket or get on TV.
I have a couple of friends and even some family members who have been affected by these arrogant fucks who care nothing for anyone else. My best friend's cousin was killed by a man running from the police. Some of my family have lost their closest friends because the person they were riding in the car with didn't feel like stopping for a cop.
I say fuck these people. Shoot em all! I know if you thought a cop was about to put one in your ass you would make damn sure you were running for a way better reason than avoiding a speeding ticket.

If you're going to elude police, try not to endanger the genpop. Do it like this: Pull over. When the cop comes up to the window, shoot the cop. Not in the face, in the chest. If there's two cops, have your partner shoot the other one, also in the chest. They will fall down. Hold up your sign that says "I know they are required to wear ballistic vests" so the cop car videocam can record that you have just committed premeditated assault with a deadly weapon (3-9), not attempted murder (5-15). Now, back your car into the cop car hard enough to disable it. Drive off at a normal speed with no pursuit.

Even if she had stolen the car it doesn't deserve a hail of gunfire.

If you had bothered to read it all, it clearly said that the officers fired at the car because they believed they were going to be run down. I'm not sure about you, but that seems like a pretty fucking good reason to shoot someone to me.

what the fuck are you talking about clit? facist? thought police? I've seen scared kids running from the cops. Scared kid took out my cousin at 21. Hit him in the back while he was walking on the side walk going home from work. Pinned him to the hood and ran through a brick wall while he was still stuck to the hood. FUCK PEOPLE WHO RUN FOR NO FUCKING REASON! You can talk all the shit you want until you or your mother, brother, cousin, aunt, uncle, son gets hit by someone avoiding a speeding ticket or a night in jail for a bullshit warrant. I've always wondered what would happen if I got pulled over at night (defense courses say you're supposed to drive to the nearest gas station or well-lit parking lot, just in case). I wouldn't want the officer to think I was fleeing, but I also wouldn't want to stop on a deserted road for anyone. I just don't know.

If a cop is follwing you in a marked car with sirens on, and you run, if it becomes dangerous to civilians, they should be able to open fire.
