like the movie KIDS, my only consolation was the fact that in about a year, almost every character would be dead, thereby stopping their deadly cycle of infecting each other with various STDs and doing drugs.

I've taken into account that I simply don't like most musicals, but this one left me with two questions/statements:
1) Look its cool if you're going to be a hippie, and "stick it to the man" or whatever by holding out and doing what you love, even if you suck at it... but if you're going to do that, and you're broke as fuck because of it, and you refuse to get a real job because that would be "selling out"... don't start bitching when you don't have money. "Man... they're gonna force us to pay RENT?! On a building it costs them money to keep?! Lame!"
2) So Mimi (read: striiiiiiipper) wanted to hook up with Roger. Roger has teh AIDS. Roger didn't want to hook up with Mimi because he didn't want to give her teh AIDS. Unbeknownst to Roger, Mimi ALSO has teh AIDS... but Mimi has no issue giving her AIDS to Roger in exchange for a late night no-heat-in-the-house booty call while she's hopped up on crack.

My friend James went to see the movie, and afterwards he said "If I knew it was going to be people singing and dancing about the booty-flu, I wouldn't have bothered." I won't be bothering.

I will only see this movie if they all really do die of aids at the end so i will have something to look forward to.
