The move is over. My new apartment rocks.
My job is keeping me busy. It sucks because it's during Uber's primetime. Second shift is tex suxxors. I do, however, get to sleep in a few hours and still get home in time to party/drink/hang out.
I've been off Uber for a month or so now. Sucks, doesn't it? How have you been without your sassy fix?
More importantly, what have I missed?
What shitty bandwagons have flared and died?
What alters have reached Most Heated and fizzled into nothingness?
On second thought, no, don't tell me. I think it's best that I left Uber for a while. Cleanse my palette, if you will.
I finally got high-speed in the apartment (7gb of porn downloaded since Friday) and I should be posting again.

If you have a wireless card with an external ant port, you can either buy or build yourself a long range antenna, a pringles can works pretty well...
I use a few different progs, I don't do this on near the level that places like yours do
CellDEK - This is pretty cool if you ever have to do a job on a cell phone or PDA
EnCase - Used it, but don't own it.
DIBS - I mostly use DIBS, thats what I have my workstation configured with, it has some pretty good tools built in, plus it holds up in court (god forbid)
I also use Norton (in simple civil cases) and DiskCopy for my simple unlocked imaging.
For password cracking I use several, depending on what it is and how much encryption is in place....usually the simplest progs will crack what your average pervert uses
I've heard that Discover-E sucks, but I've never used it. Probably 99% of what I do is for PI's, so it is mostly he said-she said cases, but hey, they pay better than law enforcement does, so I'm not complaining. Heck, I've only had to testify in court 1 time, and that was a joke.

Oh, cool so you went to the haunted house type deal, I highly reccomend going on one of their ghost hunts, they let 200 people roam free around the prision with all the lights off, definetly creepy.

no, october 22nd. everyone in the group bugged me to go early in the day. i gave in and had a 10 minute wait in line. by the time we got to the front (by the door) i couldn't even see the end of the line. people were waiting a couple hours in the nearly freezing rain. when we left, it seemed like every car got stuck in the mud. the people who put this on must not have planned ahead very well.
