Dear Ubersite Community,
I'm Dan, I run The Internet Slacker website at www.internetslacker.com. While it's not a major E/N site, I like to think of it as my little home on the web where other Slackers on the 'Net are welcome.
I write most of my site's content, so I was thinking this year (since I run my own website), why not create an award to give out to those websites I like the most? At the very least it makes for a good article and, hopefully, brightens some people's day a little.
Anyways, it's not much, but for what it's worth, The Internet Slacker is awarding everyone at Ubersite a 2005 Slackie Award for great writing. Sorry there is no money or prizes, but I'm including a nice graphic of the Slackie Award. And, of course, I'm linking to Ubersite in the most recent Internet Slacker article in the Blog section.

I remember, in 1996, people used to actually collect 'awards' like this, and display them on their pathetic little Angelfire homepages.
