By now you've all undoubtely heard about the San Francisco police movies, amateur films created by some off-duty officers. The mayor and some chink bitch flipped the hell out when they found out about them. All San Francisco must be in an uproar, with twenty crazy officers running free in the streets now. These videos have been described as "shameful...offensive, sexist, homophobic, and racist." They mock minorities and treat women as objects. In short, they are all that is man.
I was watching the news the other night when this aired and I thought to myself, "Hey, that's pretty clever. Real cops parodying their own jobs. It's kind of like Reno 911, only real." I thought a littler harder, and then it hit me. "Holy shit, it's JUST like Reno 911!" except for the real part, of course. I may be mistaken, as I'm rather out of the loop these days, but I can't recall the producers, actors, writers, supporters, viewers, or networks airing the aforementioned comedy ever being called "shameful, offensive, racist, sexist, homophobic," or being described as a mockery or treating women as objects. Why, perhaps even in San Francisco they aired this horrible, degrading, immoral, and sick television series. And how dare they, after all the San Franciscans have gone through to purify their city?
Parodies can be found in every culture (except the Chinese and Koreans, they'll kill you), and in every sector of work, even the moon work and the cheese and pie industries. OK, *maybe* the employees aren't doing all the work, but somebody out there is making fun of somebody else, and I haven't seen any arrests for this sort of lewd and lascivious behavior. Every time I say, "Women can't do that. Women don't have souls," I guess I should be reeducated because I'm sexist. And when I say "Those Indian fucks are taking all our jobs," I should be imprisoned because I'm racist, a menace to society!
I understand that they are public employees, but I guess I don't see why this should have any affect on their off-duty conduct, especially when these videos weren't meant for public release. Read that again: These videos weren't meant for public release. Why, then, were they posted online? An interesting question. The officer who posted them made it clear that they were intended to be viewed only by the police department, which is why he posted them on a website viewed only by SFPD officers and not on any search engines. Should you get in trouble for posting those videos you made of your neighbor's daughter on your own personal webspace that only you and a few of your DnD buddies looked at, or for posting some Mexican's personal information on a site viewed by about 10,000 other people?
Unless there is something in their contract about this type of conduct--and hell there might be, I don't mess with those government types--what makes it so bad? I make dozens of racist, sexist, homophobic, etc comments every day. What red-blooded American doesn't? This is what happens when you elect a faggot as your mayor, and a woman--an Asian woman no less--becomes your police chief. If I had a lot of money, I would hire these guys to film an entire movie of this kind of shit. It would proably keep my laughing for days, laughing to hard I might pee myself.
I THOUGHT THEY WERE FUNNY DAMMIT. I called up Rodney King and he said he thought they were funny too. Now just watch, the entire SFPD is going to go to hell without the crude, manly humor of the "officers involved." Just remember, things could be a lot worse. Take, for example, these racist Jap hoes:

It's hard to believe that there are people who are this ignorant and insensitive as to put on Nazi uniforms and pose for the camera. Actually, it's not, once you spend more than five minutes on the internet.
I know you don't understand why people are mad or upset, but, the problem is that the cop posted it on a work-related web site. If he had posted it on something that was 100% private/personal, I could see your point. He put it on a police-related site that is associated with the cops and it was something that he wanted other cops to see. That's not a good thing.
I don't know if those girls are Japanese, but if you know anything about Japanese history, you would not be too surprised at them putting on Nazi uniforms.
Whether you like it or not, people judge you by what you do on your down time. Not just cops, but all of us are judged at work by what we do when we are off the clock.
