I know I usually do these on Thursday, but Hump Day seemed like a better choice this week. Pun totally intended.
Only 2 in this list are my own nominations. Thank Sassmasterr and Siren for Rivers Cuomo. Siren is singlehandedly responsible for Beck... Deidra is responsible for Anthony Keidis, and BrittInToledo is responsible for Bono. But I seconded that one, because I love him so. Chris Cornell is aaaaaaaallll me, baby.

Bono - Name comes from Bono Vox, a name he gave himself, meaning ¨sweet voice¨, but he first had this ridiculously long gibberish name, of which I cannot remember. Went to audition/join/try out for U2, claiming he could sing and play guitar. He didn¨t have the faintest idea how to do either.

Actually... his mother started calling him that when he was a little kid. It was always a private family nickname until she died of a brain hemmorage when he was 14. He goes by it now as an homage to her.

Xcuses - I've actually got another 32 men on the list, but they're tough to find loads of pictures of, seeing as how they're virtual unknowns (most of them). I've heard some less than flattering things about Trent Reznor, just to warn you.
Admittedly, they were third hand, but they were pretty anti "the hotness" is all.
That last Bono pic makes him look like a human being, which I thought he'd given
up on long ago... I wouldn't make too much about being nominated for a Nobel Peace
Prize though-- I mean, George Bush got nominated too, on the grounds that he removed
Saddam Hussein from power. The nomination doesn't mean anything more than some member
of the Norwegian Parliament thought Bono was pretty spiffy...
