Yeah, we weren't married, and it's been apparent for a long time that we never would be, so it's not out of the blue or anything. You just get used to having somebody around who does all the little things that you don't. Like shop, cook, laundry, cleaning, getting the beer (although I would still manage to get that done if she didn't.) It's probably a good thing it ended before I became totally dependant. You know, to the point where I would most likely starve to death if she wasn't around to procure and fix the food? They'd find me withered away from hunger with $100 in my pocket and a Food Mart half a block away.

Apollo is one of the few people I would actually look forward to meet. I saw a couple of Britons in a party once. They seemed lonely and didn't understand a word. So I talked to them. They were pretty nice. A lot nicer than the huge majority of English Canadians (westerner excluded) or Americans I met.
