This year I have:

Passed the Threshold which means I'm an awesome teacher.
Lost my gallbladder http://www.ubersite.com/m/70853 This is mainly why I was on uber so much this year- I was too sick to do much for ages and then i was recovering from surgery. I remain married to the nice man in the France trip pictures.
Exciting plans for this year include going to The Netherlands, France again, and probably Russia in the summer,redecorating our bathroom and finishing my MA.
Here is a picture of our campervan next to Carisbrooke Castle, taken on Tuesday. Carisbrooke Castle is famous because King Charles I was imprisoned there for over a year before being beheaded.

yeah... (I think Clue is called Cluedo in the UK though)
It's all improvised- you have a little card that tells you what you have to be like, and what clues you can pass on- then everybody has to guess whom dunnit and why at the end.

Yes the van has curtains- original 1970s orange pattern. I need to replace them at some stage because they don't actually act as curtains very well. It does have occasional "starting" and "working" issues.
The series thing... direct me to a post where it links to a whole series and I will read- it's because I hate missing sections, and I also need to read it in one go because I have the memory of a goldfish.

After I put that through I realized that you were older, I was cornfused by the pseudoversary. I understand the reluctance with series to a point but at the same time some of the best stuff I've read here has been series. Hell, some of the series I've read on here could easily develope into actual books that could make the writer of the material a rich playboy writing stories on the beach of thier own private island.
Or maybe not.
I just get frustrated when a series is blown off because it requires a little more attention than the one poster. Almost every time I've given the needed attention to a series I've been more than rewarded with a quality story.

I used to have a van exactly like that! It was even the same color....yea, shut up...colour. (Whiny bitches)
Oh, and the steering wheel was on the other side, as was the sliding passenger door... And it was a couple years older... And a little more ragged on the paint due to the hot, humid climate of this region... Come to think of it, yours is much nicer than mine.
I remember times when mine would mysteriously refuse to start. And I remember other times when it would refuse to idle correctly even when it did start. Then there was the matter of the gears, I think first was particularly troublesome to find at times.
You have to be a mechanic, damn near, to own one of those.
